Application Programming interface or API is a way to connect your website / application with another website / application for the exchange of data. E.g.Facebook API

P2P Networks

Peer-to-Peer Network is a group of computers, each of which acts as a node for sharing files within the group. Instead of having a central server to act as a shared drive, each computer acts as the decentralised server for the files stored in it. E.g. Bitcoin

Biometrics

Biometrics refers to metrics related to human characteristics. Biometrics authentication is used in computer science as a form of identification and access control. It is also used to identify individuals in groups that are under surveillance.

NFC

Near Field Communication is a set of communication protocols that enable two electronic devices, one of which is usually a portable device such as a smartphone, to establish communication by bringing them within 4 cm (1.6 in) of each other.

Dark Web

Dark Web is the part of the world wide web that is only accessible by means of special software (TOR), allowing users and website operators to remain anonymous or untraceable.

Visual Search Engines are designed to search for information on the world wide web through the input of an image or a search engine with a visual display of the search results.

Beacon

Beacons are hardware devices which allow Mobile Apps (running on both iOS and Android devices) to listen for signals from beacons in the physical world and react accordingly. iBeacon is the name for Apple’s technology standard.
